THE DREGS TOFU CRISPY CHIPS
In a village called DesaTanjungKalidawir, Tulungagung there was an UMKM “Tahu” which is quite big in thatvillage. We try to make the new innovation in order to increase the profit from that UMKM. We utilize the waste of tofu production. Because in couple days ago when we did survey to the UMKM of tofu in Mr.Mattori’s house. We found that he usually used the waste of tofu production only for feeding his cattle. And we finally make an innovation to utilize the waste of tofu production in order to get higher value of selling to increase the profit of Mr. Mattori as the owner of tofu production in Tanjung Village.
We try to process the waste of tofu production to be crispy chips. It’s made with the purpose that it’s not only used for feeding the cattle anymore but it also can give more benefits by selling it.
These are some ingredients we need and the steps to make dregs tofu crispy chips.
The ingredients:
- The dregs of tofu production
- Garlic
- Salt
- Coriander powder
- Lyme leaves
- Tapioca flour
The steps to make:
- Wash the dregs of tofu and mix it with the flavor (garlic, salt, and coriander powder) then mix all of them with enough tapioca flour.
- Prepare the place for the steam dough and make a small ball just like a meatball, then steam it in 10 until 15 minutes.
- Prepare something to press the dough and put it on the place for being dried.
- Dry it under the sun shine for about 2 days till the dough being dry.
- Fry it with the hot oil and add some variant tastes you want.
